6 Costume Ideas for a Rainy Day at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Is rain in the forecast for your Halloween party this year? Don’t worry! We have six rainproof costume ideas perfect for any Disney lover.

Today we’re sharing six costume ideas for a rainy day at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Is it going to rain at your Halloween party? Unfortunately, the Halloween season in Florida is also the rainy season.  Every year, at least one Halloween party gets poured on. The party won’t be canceled (they are rain or shine), but certain events like the parade and fireworks may be canceled.

You can still wear an awesome costume in the rain! Here’s a few of our best ideas that feature umbrellas and ponchos.

1. Toy Story Green Alien

This is a super simple costume idea for the whole family, and definitely a popular one at MNSSHP. Throw on a Toy Story Green Alien poncho and you’re ready for the night.

5. Monster’s Inc

Another easy costume idea is Monster’s Inc. You can mix and match the following ideas which include a waterproof Mike Wasowski, Comedy Detection Agency (CDA), and Boo.

For Mike, just throw on a Mike Wasowski poncho! For the CDA, grab a yellow poncho or yellow rain suit. If you want to dress up as Boo, wear a purple dress and buy a purple umbrella. Attach two fake eyes to the top of the umbrella using string, and tie yarn around the top (this requires a little bit of creativity).

6. Christopher Robin and friends

If you remember from the movie, Christopher Robin has a bright yellow set of rain gear. One of you can dress in your best rain gear, and the others can dress up as Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and other friends (just add umbrellas).

Here’s a link to some yellow rain gear, a Pooh umbrella, an umbrella for a Tigger costume,  an umbrella for an Eeyore costume, and an umbrella for a Piglet costume. If you’re crafty, you can also customize your own by adding stripes, ears, or eyes!
