Park hopping is back at Walt Disney World, but it looks a little different than you may remember. In this article, we’re going to outline how to park hop and give you a few tips!

Park Hopping Basic Details

You must have a park pass for the first park you want to visit and you MUST ENTER THAT PARK FIRST.

If you’re not an annual passholder, you must have a park hopping ticket.

How to See What Parks are Available

At 2pm you can call the automated message line at this number 407-560-5000. A recording will share which parks are NOT available for park hopping!

Alternatively you can check My Disney Experience for a notification. An alert is posted if the park is at capacity.

How to Travel Between Two Parks

If you want to take a bus to another park, you will have your ticket checked by the driver to make sure it allows for park hopping. The buses don’t start running between parks until right around 2 pm

Can You Park Hop and Ride Rise of the Resistance?

If you want to ride Rise of the Resistance, you must have a park pass reservation to Hollywood Studios. That means if you have a park pass to Animal Kingdom, then park hop at 2 pm to Hollywood Studios, you are not eligible to ride the attraction. The only way to ride Rise of the Resistance is with a park pass to Hollywood Studios.
