What is Stewart Avenue? Only our favorite place to buy Disney tees! The Mouselets have been building up our Disney attire including new sets of ears, shirts, and bows! We love to support local shoppes, and when we met Stewart Avenue on Instagram we fell in love with their story and designs! Below is a brief interview with Kelsey, the shop owner of Stewart Avenue and some pictures of her adorable tee shirts! She has such an amazing story about following your dreams, and really embodies the Walt Disney quote “All our dreams come true, if we have the courage to pursue them”.

Interview with Stewart Avenue

The Mouselets: Can you tell us a little more about yourself?

Kelsey: My name is Kelsey and I am the owner of Stewart Avenue. I’ve been stitching since I was about 15 years old and purchased my very own machine at the age of 17!

The Mouselets: When did you decide to take on Stewart Avenue as your full-time position?

Kelsey: I was waiting tables at a local diner and remember saving every penny for this machine and “dream” to one day own my own shop. I graduated at college at the age of 19 with my degree in graphic design and really wanted to use these skills that I learned to achieve this little dream of mine. I sold odds and ends monograms and gifts for a few years, but it wasn’t until I married my husband Casey that I realized this could be a full time gig! I finally established a name, clientele, and even a brand for myself. Fast forward three years and here I am, known more as Stewart Avenue than my own name. I am still completely blown away by the love and support that I get from my amazing customers and completely humbled that this is reality.

The Mouselets: Can you tell us more about Stewart Avenue, and the products you sell?

Kelsey: In my shop I sell Disney inspired t-shirts that are also subtle enough to wear out of the parks! Disney is a lifestyle so I wanted a brand that my customers could wear anywhere. I love creating t-shirts and designs that represent your favorite movies characters, or quotes, and hope you love wearing them as much as I love making them!
