Exciting news for Zootopia fans! Shanghai Disney Resort just announced that a Zootopia-themed land is coming to Shanghai Disneyland. This development will be the park’s eighth themed land, and the first Zootopia themed land at any Disney park worldwide.

According to Disney Parks Blog, guests will be invited to experience the mammalian metropolis of Zootopia, where “anyone can be anything”. The land will contain a major attraction that will mix both Disney storytelling and state-of-the-art technology to bring the movie to life. If we had to speculate, we think the technology will be similar to, or more advanced, than the Ratatouille attraction, Flights of Passage, and the new Millennium Falcon. This information is not yet released, but we’ll keep you updated when it is!

Guests will see Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde featured in the new attraction, and hopefully at a meet and greet!

Entertainment, merchandise, and food and  beverage offerings will further immerse guests in the Zootopia metropolis.
