Walt Disney World has changed significantly since opening day in 1972. Over the years, the castle has transformed into a giant birthday cake, the character costumes have been updated, and attractions have changed. The vintage images below are previously unpublished.     Hahaha this is great! I went in 1996 and my mom was devastated when she saw the castle as a cake. I thought it was hilarious.

    This is a nice collection. I like to see the clothes, the characters, the colors. Oh, and that Dale with the not meeting neck line…LOL. These pictures definitely bring some smiles to my face.
